My name is Michael J. Alcaraz, but I go by the stage name “The Almost Funny Comedian”. I set the bar low, but wow 9 out of 10 crowds.

I have been doing standup since 2016, but wasn’t any good till 2020. I’ve been complimented by countless strangers and some more prestigious comics for my absurd honesty.

I’m pretty humble and just want to be a nationally touring opener.

Outside of live performances, I have written a few comedy screenplays that I hope to see on Netflix one day. Currently I’m writing a novel about a standup comedian. And in 5 years I would like to own a comedy club of my own.
