My name is Michael J. Alcaraz, but I go by the stage name “The Almost Funny Comedian”. I set the bar low, but wow 9 out of 10 crowds.

I have been doing standup since 2016, but wasn’t any good till 2020. I’ve been complimented by countless strangers and some more prestigious comics for my absurd honesty.

Anywhere in the country, I can open or feature, and if the headliner missed their flight, I’d be ready to step in on a moment's notice because I have the range to perform for a church, college audience, or adults looking for a night out.

I have dedicated my life to standup comedy. I wrote a movie about a standup comedian and two comedy pilots that I’m trying to sell to Netflix.

I also wrote a few comedy books that get no love on Amazon because I can’t sell water to the ocean.

In 10-15 years I’d like to own a comedy club that has an attached pizza shop.
